A stone carries within it the way it was formed and structured. My knowledge of its birth process, of its crystallization process, of its composition, gives me different perspectives that guide me when approaching a stone. The cubic structure of a fluorite, the composition of copper-bearing stones, the metamorphic formation of lapis lazuli, the quadratic crystallisation of zircon… are all different structural aspects which share correspondences with different human natures, reveal to me a stone’s calling and with which each person can associate his or her own reality.

Exploring what a gemstone can potentially embody is similar to a dance for it is an intellectual game through its polysemy and infinite interpretations. It is also a dance because one must attune to the stone’s vibrations.
